  4. 1.   BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE THE C++ PORTIONS OF TGE, BE SURE TO RECOMPILE
  5.      THEM ON YOUR MACHINE.  THIS IS NECESSARY TO AVOID WHAT APPEARS TO BE A
  6.      BUG IN TURBO LINKER.  IN ORDER TO RECOMPILE THE C++ PORTIONS, RUN
  7.      UPDATE.BAT FROM THE TGE\LIB DIRECTORY.

  9. 2.   Please ensure that you unarchived TGE with full pathnames enabled, as
  10.      the archive contains sub-directories; to do so, use PkUnzip's "-d"
  11.      option.

  13. 3.   So far, TGE has been tested only with Borland C++.  It may not work
  14.      with other compilers.
  15.  
  16. 4.   TGE now has drivers dedicated to accessing SVGA modes though VESA BIOS
  17.      Extensions (VBEs).  If TGE is not displaying correctly to your screen,
  18.      try using one of the VBE drivers instead.  It's generally a good idea
  19.      to use them anyway, since it means TGE can reliably support any video
  20.      card which supports the VBEs, which most do these days.
